Instructions
-
Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. -
Cook the Chicken
Cut the chicken breasts into thin strips or bite-size pieces. Season with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.
Heat olive oil or butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the chicken and cook for 6–8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until fully cooked and lightly golden. Remove from the pan and set aside. -
Make the Alfredo Sauce
In the same pan, melt butter over medium-low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in the cream (and milk if using). Stir and let it gently simmer for 2–3 minutes. -
Add Cheese and Combine
Stir in the Parmesan cheese until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy. Season with salt and black pepper to taste. -
Mix Everything Together
Add the cooked chicken back into the sauce, then add the cooked pasta. Toss well until the pasta is fully coated with the sauce. Cook for another 1–2 minutes. -
Serve
Remove from heat and serve hot. Garnish with extra Parmesan cheese or chopped parsley if desired.
Tips & Variations
-
Add mushrooms or broccoli for extra flavor and nutrition.
-
Use grilled chicken for a smoky taste.
