For the Steak & Shrimp:
-
250 g steak (ribeye or sirloin, cut into thin strips)
-
200 g shrimp (peeled and deveined)
-
Salt and black pepper to taste
-
1/2 teaspoon paprika
-
1 tablespoon olive oil
-
1 tablespoon butter
For the Garlic Butter Sauce:
-
3 tablespoons butter
-
4 cloves garlic (minced)
-
1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)
-
1/4 cup chicken broth or white wine
-
1/2 cup heavy cream
-
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Optional Garnish:
-
Lemon wedges
-
Extra Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1. Cook the Pasta
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water.
2. Cook the Steak
Season steak strips with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the steak for 2–3 minutes on each side until browned but slightly pink in the center. Remove and set aside.
3. Cook the Shrimp
In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon butter. Cook the shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside with the steak.
4. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
Reduce heat to medium. Add 3 tablespoons butter to the skillet. Sauté minced garlic and red chili flakes for 30–45 seconds until fragrant. Add chicken broth or white wine and simmer for 2 minutes. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until smooth. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
5. Combine Pasta, Steak & Shrimp
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat. If needed, use reserved pasta water to loosen the sauce. Gently fold in steak and shrimp. Sprinkle with chopped parsley.
6. Serve
Plate immediately, garnish with extra Parmesan and lemon wedges if desired. Serve hot for a restaurant-style experience at home.
